Blue Willow remains one of the most recognized and cherished patterns in homes across the globe. Since its early production in England during the late 1700's, using the original engraving by Thomas Minton, Blue Willow has been produced by many of the renowned English china companies. The Blue Willow pattern was inspired by a Chinese legend about two star-crossed lovers. The romance of this legendary story is depicted in the intricacy of the engraving.
